Mountain Music Jam

Last weekend Backside Tours held their first annual Mountain Music Jam with special guests; Wool on Wolves, at Kicking Horse Mountain resort in Golden, BC. I hadn't been able to make it on the trip, but my lovely Teri had gone down with a few friends, and when a shift at work surprisingly got covered at work at the last minute, I decided to make the six hour drive from Edmonton to Golden to surprise her.

This was my first time riding Kicking Horse, and even though I only had one day to get in before I had to head back to Edmonton for work, it couldn't have been a better time. The skies were blue, the temperature was just below freezing, and the runs were nothing but powder.

The 'music' part of the Mountain Music Jam was provided to us by none other than Edmonton's own Wool on Wolves. These guys knew exactly how to get the crowd moving, and the moving didn't stop until the band did.
